Girls Program
At Boronia Soccer Club we offer girls and boys the same high quality football education. Girls have the option to play in girls or mixed teams from U7-U12. In 2026, we have dedicated girls teams at U9 & U11.
We are a club proud to offer a true pathway to senior football with girls able to move through our junior girls programs and into our Women's State League 4 team.

One training session per week - Monday or Wednesday evening

​Match Day Information ​

Matches played predominantly on Sundays (Saturdays depending on league availability) between April and September​​ (Term 2-3)

Games will be played in in SE region. Common clubs include; Ashburton, Oakleigh, Boxhill, Bulleen, Knox United, Knox City, Booroondarah, Collingwood.

*All families* are required (on a roster system) to assist with the smooth running of home games – pitch set up/pack away, lines person, changeroom clean up, fruit etc​

Fees
Fees include but are not limited to: Football Victoria and Football Australia (FV & FA) player and team registration, insurance, coaching expenses, training and match day equipment, players game day, end of season trophies and celebrations, costs related to all club facilities eg. council fees and utilities.

All new female players will receive a complimentary playing kit for thge 2026 season.

All fees must be paid, or payment plan committed to, prior to round 1 of the season.

Please note, if some reason a team does not go ahead in a particular age group, a full refund will be provided.

Registration
In the weeks leading up to the season information will be sent out via Spond for Play Football registration with Football Victoria. This is a formal process each player must do each year.

Grading/Trials and Team Allocation
Pre-season training will commence late Jan, 2026. We do not run formal trials. Instead all players are observed during this pre-season period by our team of experienced coaches and Coaching Committee.
This gives them more time to understand all players skill development/stage.
Players will start to be moved into groups during training as they continue to be observed in a variety of scenarios. Ultimately players will be grouped into teams in March.

Volunteer Requirements

As with all community clubs we are are a volunteer run, not for profit club

All teams require a coach and team manager to ensure their smooth running

ALL FAMILIES are expected to help (on a roster system) with match day duties such as pitch set up, fruit and leading games.
